Princess Rani

Princess Rani, built in 2008, is a 35-meter luxury liveaboard designed for year-round diving and snorkelling cruises. She is the most stable yacht operating in the Maldives; this is immediately felt on board, especially during long voyages. Plus, the captain of Princess Rani is a true legend, able to perform wonders on the route.

Accommodating up to 22 guests in 11 spacious en-suite cabins, Princess Rani presents the timeless charm of traditional Maldivian craftsmanship, while offering generous indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing between dives.

Princess Rani brings a distinctive Italian touch to the heart of the Indian Ocean. Managed by an Italian company with decades of experience in Maldivian dive safaris, the yacht has become especially popular among European travellers looking for a more personal, relaxed style of hospitality. Life on board moves at an unhurried pace, where excellent diving is naturally followed by dinner, starting with an aperitif, conversations over meals and drinks, dessert and espresso afterwards, and spectacular sunsets from the sun deck.

The multilingual crew of Princess Rani speaks English, Italian, French, Spanish and Dhivehi, ensuring smooth communication throughout the trip. Experienced dive guides, many with backgrounds in marine biology and environmental conservation, provide informative briefings and share their extensive knowledge of the Maldives' unique underwater ecosystems. More than that, there is a marine biologist on board to guide snorkelling excursions.

Diving operations are conducted from a dedicated dive dhoni, keeping the main yacht quiet and uncluttered while providing ample space for equipment preparation. The Princess Rani is equipped with three Coltri compressors, offers Nitrox for certified divers, and supplies steel cylinders in multiple sizes with both DIN and INT fittings, making it well suited for recreational photographers as well as experienced divers.

Princess Rani operates a variety of itineraries across the Central Atolls, Deep South, and seasonal expeditions, offering encounters with manta rays, whale sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, and vibrant coral reefs. With up to three dives per day, the yacht provides an excellent balance between exciting underwater adventures and relaxed time on board.

One of Princess Rani's defining features is its cuisine. Meals are freshly prepared using local ingredients while celebrating authentic Italian culinary traditions, with homemade pasta, Mediterranean flavours, fresh seafood, and carefully selected wines creating an experience that many returning guests from Maldivian Charter Club remember as fondly as the diving itself. Dining is served al fresco on the main deck whenever possible, adding to the yacht's warm, convivial atmosphere. Definitely, Princess Rani has the most notable Chef from the Italian fleet.

With spacious lounges, three sun decks, a Jacuzzi, attentive European hospitality, and the unmistakable warmth of Italian culture, Princess Rani delivers a relaxed lifestyle at sea where exceptional diving, great food, and genuine hospitality come together to create an unforgettable Maldivian liveaboard experience.
