Hope Cruiser is a compact 26.5-metre Maldivian yacht built in 2000 and renovated in 2012. Designed with an emphasis on comfort and stability, she accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, with a crew of seven. Her relatively small size gives her an intimate character, while the layout makes good use of the available space across the main and upper decks. The cabins are located on the lower deck and can be arranged as double or twin accommodation.
Hope Cruiser has a relaxed, informal feel. Her main deck features a spacious indoor salon and dining area with a bar and entertainment system, while a second dining area is located aft. Above, the partially shaded sundeck provides daybeds, tables and chairs and is naturally the place to spend time outdoors, whether enjoying the Maldivian scenery or watching the sunset. Her 12-knot cruising speed and stable design also make her well suited to island-hopping and longer journeys between atolls.
At present, Hope Cruiser is operating without a diving programme, so her current character is better suited to private charters, cruising, fishing, surfing and exploring the Maldives above the surface. Her relatively intimate capacity makes her particularly interesting to small groups looking for a yacht they can enjoy together, just for themselves. Maldivian Charter Club presents her as a small-group boat for six to 12 guests, with an experienced crew and chef on board. Families with children are welcome – children below 2 years travel free of charge, and for children whose age is between 2 and 10 years, parents pay half of the adult price.
Hope Cruiser is strongly associated with fishing; she offers jigging, trolling, wading and night bait fishing around Malé, giving the yacht a more active, ocean-focused profile beyond conventional sightseeing.
For travellers who do not need a dedicated dive boat, Hope Cruiser offers something rather different: a small, traditional Maldivian yacht with a relaxed atmosphere, generous outdoor areas and the flexibility of a private cruising platform. She is best suited to guests who want to slow down, move between islands, spend time on the water and experience the Maldives at a more personal pace rather than follow a fixed liveaboard diving schedule.
The yacht’s description is subject to change, so if any features or services are particularly important to you, please confirm them at the time of booking.
