Emperor Leo is a modern dive safari yacht, built in 2024 and designed for open-ocean crossings between the Maldivian atolls. Her elegant silhouette, elongated hull, and smooth lines, along with a superstructure featuring panoramic windows and multiple deck levels, create a sense of lightness and space. The turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean reflect off her deep-blue sides, casting shimmering highlights. At the same time, the upper deck – with soft loungers and shaded areas – seems to float above the ocean, transforming at dusk into a cosy spot for admiring the Maldives’ unforgettable sunsets.
Emperor Leo feels both refined and relaxed, with that understated sense of luxury that blends perfectly into the atoll landscape, making her a natural extension of the surrounding ocean.
The atmosphere on board Emperor Leo is a true Maldivian flow: warm winds, endless turquoise waters, and a constant change of decorations, where each new dive feels like a scene in a captivating performance. Early mornings bring drift dives with the current, afternoons are for slow recovery on the sun deck, and evenings for sunsets where sky and ocean dissolve into one. The vibe is relaxed yet rich with action – you’re never rushed, yet always immersed in the experience.
Emperor Leo features 12 cabins for up to 24 guests. The cabins are styled in a marine aesthetic: light wall panels, warm traditional wood, and white-and-blue bedding – functional and elegant. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning and a private bathroom, with layouts suitable for both couples and solo divers.
Diving is the main reason to choose Emperor Leo. Divers rule on board. She is not a family-oriented yacht for guests with small children. At the same time, she is a great place to join the diving community, whether you’re starting from scratch or advancing your skills by completing PADI courses during the safari.
The primary languages spoken on board Emperor Leo are English, German, and Spanish.
The Emperor Leo shared spaces include a panoramic salon, a dining area, and multiple decks where you can relax in the shade or sunbathe under the open sky.
Thanks to the use of a dedicated dive dhoni, Emperor Leo offers more space and quiet on board, smooth overnight crossings between atolls, so you wake up in a new location, and the chance to spot manta rays and sharks just meters from the yacht. The daily rhythm follows tides and currents, directly enhancing the diving experience. Guests also enjoy an international cuisine tailored to an active diving schedule, along with a growing sense of complete detachment from the outside world, even by the second day of the safari, as many Maldivian Charter Club clients have noted.
Emperor Leo is especially well-suited for seasoned divers who want to experience the Maldives as a true dive destination rather than just a resort, confident divers, fans of pelagic life and drift dives, small groups, couples, and those who value comfort, but never distract from what truly matters: the ocean.
On Emperor Leo, dinner comes with a complimentary glass of wine – such a nice small touch!
