Black Manta

Black Manta a new comfortable dive safari yacht. She is a work of art and technology, where the key idea is to make the journey as eventful as possible, and even more beautiful.

Black Manta was built in 2024. Her elegant, forward-facing body is 42 meters long and 9 meters wide, with a large residential and open area – about 450 m ², which is above average for the Maldives. On three decks there are 15 comfortable cabins of different categories: Standard on the lower deck, Superior, Deluxe and Premium – more spacious and comfortable, in six of them – stunning ocean views. All cabins have air conditioning, private bathroom, extra towels and Wi-Fi.

Black Manta's public spaces are impressive in size: an outdoor dining area with ocean views, lounges, a sun deck and even a massage and jacuzzi area – not very common feature for a dive safari. There is no feeling of crowding or a mass liner: with a capacity of up to 28 guests on board, there are enough large common and private areas to feel free and comfortable at the same time.

Black Manta is accompanied  with a separate dive-dhoni, where all preparation, assembly of equipment and dives take place. Thus there is no chaos with cylinders and wet equipment on the main yacht, and the dives themselves are more convenient, clearer and safer, this is especially important in the Maldives with their currents and drift diving. Diving is diverse: channel dives, night dives, often with nurse sharks, and small reefs with macro-life, and protected lagoons. This balance makes the route interesting not only for "big hunters," but also for those who appreciate the process itself.

At the same time, the Black Manta yacht remains precisely diver’s boat, featuring  fully-equipped zone for photo- and video cameras, charging stations and Nitrox.

An important point on board Black Manta is flexibility, professional crew and team level.  We, Maldivian Charter Club, are aware, that the crew is very skilled in adapting the route to actual conditions of weather and currents, which directly affects the quality of diving and safety. This is fundamental for the Maldives, where the "right place at the right time" means a lot.

The culinary part at Black Manta deserves special attention: the menu with the French accent combines local and international dishes prepared with attention to detail, fresh ingredients and a variety of tastes. The food format is gourmet: dinners with sunset views in the open dining room, BBQ on the beach, snacks and drinks at any time of the day.

Black Manta feels like an expeditionary base with the comfort of a floating hotel: you wake up every day at a new point in the ocean, dive on reefs that cannot be reached from the islands, and live in a rhythm where everything is subordinated to diving – from early starts to night dives and voyages between atolls under the stars.

The highlight of Black Manta is precisely in the balance between a serious expedition, comfort, style and an atmosphere of escape from everyday life, where everything on board make your impressions alive, bright and deep.

This is exactly the format of the Maldives for which diving safaris are chosen: maximum ocean, minimum compromise.
