Searose II has been moving through the Maldives since 2009, previously under the name Maldives Princess, with the quiet confidence of a yacht built by people who understand diving. This 43-meter vessel combines the operational efficiency of a serious expedition platform with the atmosphere of a private floating retreat. Fully renovated and refurbished in 2024, the yacht presents a clean contemporary aesthetic – warm wood finishes, soft lighting, open decks, and panoramic lounge spaces designed around the cadence of life at sea.

 

What defines Searose II most clearly is the mood on board. Days unfold slowly between dives, with guests gathering barefoot on the upper deck after morning drift dives, cameras and wetsuits drying in the Maldivian sun while the yacht crosses turquoise channels toward the next atoll. Evenings tend to settle into an easy social rhythm: dive stories exchanged over dinner, route briefings beneath open skies, music drifting quietly through the outdoor lounge while manta rays circle beneath the lights.

 

With a good mixture of local and European crew, the atmosphere on board Searose II is international yet intimate, balancing professionalism with the kind of relaxed familiarity usually found only on privately chartered expeditions.

 

The yacht accommodates up to 22 guests in spacious en-suite cabins. Her upper-deck sea-view suites offer expansive windows and generous living space, while lower-deck cabins prioritise comfort and quiet during overnight crossings. Searose II gives a noticeable sense of volume and openness, particularly in its communal areas. Wide exterior decks, shaded lounges, and a jacuzzi overlooking the stern create spaces that encourage guests to linger between dives.

 

The Searose II crew maintains a calm, attentive rhythm, especially valued by experienced divers: equipment appears rinsed and ready before guests ask, dive briefings remain concise and professional, and meals arrive with the timing of a well-run expedition.

Searose II offers 11 cabins for max 22 guests.

Lower Deck: 8 cabins; 6 are Twin State Suites, and 2 are Double State Suites.

Main Deck: 1 Ocean View Suite.

Upper Deck: 2 Ocean View Suites.

 

All cabins are spacious and beautifully furnished, with sufficient storage space, and have their own en-suite bathroom and hot/cold shower. Also, individual climate control is provided. 

The rooms are either twin share, with large twin beds, or double occupancy, with a queen bed. Suites are equipped with a king bed for additional comfort.
