Princess Sara is bright and colorful, making a statement with her red 40-metre hull and Italian accent. This spacious liveaboard is designed for exploring the Maldives in comfort while keeping diving at the heart of the experience. Built in 2018 and renovated in 2024, she accommodates up to 20 guests in 10 cabins spread across three guest decks. Her generous size provides plenty of space for both diving and relaxation, with a large indoor saloon, dining area, bar and an expansive sun deck overlooking the Indian Ocean.
For divers, Princess Sara offers a dedicated setup for exploring the Maldives’ famous reefs, channels and thilas. Nitrox is available, and a professional dive team is ready to accomplish interesting dives. The yacht operates with a large auxiliary dhoni that allows divers to reach the dive sites while keeping the main vessel free for relaxation between dives. Depending on the itinerary and season, Princess Sara explores the central and southern atolls, including Male and Ari, with opportunities to encounter manta rays, whale sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays and large schools of fish.
Life between dives is equally well catered for. The spacious sun deck provides plenty of room to relax, while the onboard Jacuzzi is an inviting place to unwind after a day underwater. Princess Sara also offers a selection of watersports, including paddleboarding, kayaking, and wakeboarding, as well as an inflatable water slide – an additional advantage that guests of the Maldivian Charter Club always mention. Land excursions and a beach barbecue add a change of scenery to the diving schedule.
Inside, the air-conditioned saloon combines a lounge, bar and dining area, where guests can enjoy three freshly prepared meals a day. Italian cuisine onboard Princess Sara is another strong point.
Princess Sara is also suitable for non-divers and snorkellers, making her a good choice for groups with different interests. With comfortable suites, generous social spaces, a dedicated diving operation and access to some of the Maldives’ most rewarding underwater areas, Princess Sara offers a well-balanced liveaboard experience for divers looking for both serious time underwater and plenty of comfort on board.
