North Seven
North Seven is a modern Maldivian liveaboard created for travellers who want to experience the archipelago through adventure, diving and life at sea. Built in 2021 and refitted in 2024, she combines the relaxed atmosphere of a safari boat with the comforts expected on a contemporary liveaboard. Her 30-metre wooden hull provides generous space for both active days and unhurried moments between excursions, with a choice of open-air decks, a shaded relaxation area and an air-conditioned salon.
Designed around the sea, North Seven offers a wide range of ways to explore the Maldives. Her programme includes dedicated diving safaris as well as snorkelling and surfing itineraries, with routes extending from the central atolls to the remote north and deep south. Divers can choose from seven-day programmes through the Central Atolls, manta-focused journeys in Baa Atoll and longer expeditions towards the southern atolls, where encounters with sharks and other pelagic species are among the highlights. The yacht also offers fishing and snorkelling, while personalised itineraries allow private groups to shape their journey around particular interests.
Life on board North Seven is designed to be sociable and relaxed. The air-conditioned salon features a bar, comfortable seating, television, DVD player and music system, while the dining area provides a natural gathering place for meals. Outside, guests can choose between a partially shaded deck with tables and chairs and an open sundeck with loungers – equally suited to enjoying the tropical sun or finding a quiet place to read. Beach barbecues, fishing, karaoke and movie evenings add variety to the time between excursions.
Accommodation of the North Seven liveaboard is arranged across different cabin categories, including a Master Suite, Sea View rooms and Standard Twin cabins. The cabins are air-conditioned and equipped with private bathrooms with showers and refrigerators, while the Sea View category offer a more spacious setting with views towards the ocean.
For divers, North Seven provides a particularly broad choice of itineraries – from the coral reefs of the Central Atolls to manta encounters in Baa and shark-focused expeditions in the south. For those who prefer to stay above the surface, the same yacht opens the door to the Maldives through snorkelling, fishing, surfing and visits to some of the archipelago’s more remote marine environments.
