Nautilus Two is a 43 × 13-meter traditional Maldivian wooden yacht, launched in 2008 and completely refurbished in 2022. Her defining feature and greatest advantage is space – and a thoughtfully designed layout of both public areas and cabins.
The yacht accommodates a maximum of 24 guests in just 12 cabins, each measuring over 20 m². Every cabin features a private en-suite bathroom with shower, individually controlled air conditioning, large comfortable beds (double or single, king-size), and ample storage space, including under-bed luggage storage, a wardrobe with hangers, bedside table, and shelves.
The 120 m² main lounge is the heart of Nautilus Two. At its center stands a five-meter traditional wooden fishing dhoni, where buffet meals are served, naturally separating the dining area from the relaxation zone furnished with rattan furniture. The lounge also features a bar with a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices: draft beer, cocktails (the daily “Cocktail of the Day” is a true work of art), soft drinks, and real coffee from a coffee machine. Hot tea and coffee are available free of charge, 24/7.
The yacht’s navigation bridge is located within the lounge, allowing guests to observe the captain at work during crossings.
The sun deck of approximately 400 m² offers both open sun and shaded areas under a sail canopy, as well as comfortable sofas where guests often gather to admire the magical Maldivian sunsets.
Another highlight of Nautilus Two is the spacious 50 m² aft deck, with comfortable open-air seating that remains inviting even during rainy weather. Thanks to the yacht’s smart design and convenient swim platform, entering and exiting the water for snorkeling or swimming in the Maldivian lagoons is exceptionally easy.
For diving, everything is in place: a professional crew and experienced dive guides, a large dedicated dive dhoni, equipment rental on request, paid Nitrox, and carefully planned itineraries –including a 12-day Deep South route with a domestic flight between Malé and Gan (or vice versa).
Safety is a top priority. Nautilus Two is one of the few liveaboards in the Maldives equipped with the ENOS diver rescue system. Given the strong currents common in the region, ENOS significantly reduces the risk of divers being separated from the vessel. Each diver receives a personal transmitter measuring only 20 cm and weighing just 165 g, which has no effect on buoyancy.
For fishing enthusiasts, the crew offers the chance to catch your own dinner the traditional Maldivian way – with a hand line – and the chef will be delighted to prepare the fresh catch.
Nautilus Two has many returning guests who come back year after year, largely thanks to the warm and friendly atmosphere on board. Clients of Time to Dive! have also stayed on board multiple times and consistently highlight the high level of comfort and excellent organization of their journey.
The yacht’s description is subject to change, so if any features or services are particularly important to you, please confirm them at the time of booking.

During a diving safari aboard the yacht Nautilus Two, guests can not only enjoy diving, but also see and experience many other exciting things.
Each tour offers the opportunity to visit a local island. Maldivians sell everyday goods in small shops, where you can also find handmade items such as carved figurines, brightly painted wooden fish, colorful silk scarves, postcards, and much more.
Landings on uninhabited islands with a picnic and traditional Maldivian delicacies are also part of the experience.
Trip to Malé. At the end of each voyage that finishes in Malé, guests have the opportunity to visit the capital of the Maldives. A dhoni will take guests to Malé and bring them back to the yacht at the agreed time.
Snorkeling and swimming. Almost all Nautilus Two anchorages are located in beautiful lagoons. After consulting with the crew, guests can go swimming or snorkeling at each stop. The swim platform at the stern of the yacht makes entering and exiting the water especially easy and comfortable.
During the diving safari on Nautilus Two, guests can also join the crew for traditional Maldivian fishing, and the chef will be happy to prepare the fresh catch.
The cabins of the Nautilus Two are larger then on every other liveaboard in the Maldives. So we have the cabin built up to 20 m² - 25 m² in size, which you can find not on another liveaboards.
All 12 cabins have identical design and are equipped with a king size double bed and a king single bed. However, the cabins are booked only for double occupancy. Ten of the cabins are located below deck and two on the middle deck.
In each cabin: a double bed and single bed, a desk with drawers and stool, a mirror, a large closet and built next to the bed in the hull, are the proven “swallow nests” as additional storage space.
The air conditioning is of course separately adjustable for each cabin. If you do not want air conditioning, a large deck hatch and a side hatch in the cabins of the Nautilus Two ensure adequate ventilation and provide the rooms with natural light at the same time.
All cabins have their own approximately 6 m² large bathroom with side window. Each bathroom has a large vanity with mirror, a luxurious massage shower and a toilet. A bath towel per person is provided.
So the cabins of the Nautilus Two are not only extremely spacious, but also provide ample storage space. Large pieces of luggage such as suitcases or dive bags can be easily stowed under the bed. Storage space for books, camera, etc. is sufficiently available and for your clothes, there is a wardrobe with hangers and for your notes you will also find a separate desk and chair in your room.
