Kefi is a floating island of vibes, a yacht where happiness resides. A place where the ocean becomes home, and days are measured not by hours but by dives, waves, and sunsets.
Kefi is about the state of being: intimate, warm, a bit hippie-chic, a feeling of escaping the world, minimalism without show off comfort, and maximum atmosphere. Kefi attracts divers and surfers who value the ocean over comfort, couples and small groups, and creative people seeking experience over service.
Here, you feel as if you're on an ocean cruise with friends, even if you only met yesterday.
The name Kefi, from Greek, means "joy," "spiritual uplift," "the mood to live in the here and now." It is more than cool marketing, it is an accurate description of what happens on board.
Kefi is a lively, warm, intimate experience. A wooden yacht, approximately 25 meters long and 7 meters wide, crafted in the Maldivian shipbuilding tradition, with soul and character. Built in 1994 and refitted in 2018, she reaches speeds of 12 knots. Her classic wooden construction creates a unique feeling – warmth, comfort, and a gentle rocking sensation impossible to replicate on modern plastic yachts.
Kefi has only 5 cabins for a maximum of 10 guests, and that's the secret to its magic. There are no crowds, no noise. Instead, you can enjoy morning coffee overlooking a tranquil lagoon, dive into the ocean straight from the deck, chat under the stars after a night dive, and feel like the entire archipelago is yours alone. All cabins are air-conditioned and feature en- suite bathrooms, carved wooden panels, and panoramic portholes.
Kefi is dedicated to diving and surfing. Up to 17 dives per weeklong safari, including night dives, the best dive sites of the Male and Ari Atolls, the opportunity to surf remote reefs during high season, snorkel with manta rays and reef sharks, landings on uninhabited islands, night fishing, and inter-atoll crossings. A private dhoni is used for diving and transfers.
On board Kefi, you'll find a blend of cultures, European and Asian cuisine. Dinner is more than just a meal: fresh fish caught during the day, a warm breeze, soft light, and the endless ocean all around. The bar, lounge area, and music – everything is intimate and authentic.
Guests of the Maldivian Charter Club returned from Kefi with a special team feeling, where strangers quickly become part of one small ocean world.
Kefi is a rare travel format where the important thing isn't the price, but how you feel.
The yacht’s description is subject to change, so if any features or services are particularly important to you, please confirm them at the time of booking.
