Iruvai reflects the enduring traditions of Maldivian seafaring, combining local craftsmanship with the comfort of a contemporary liveaboard yacht. Her name comes from the Dhivehi word for the sunny season, a time of calm seas, clear skies and exceptional visibility beneath the surface – conditions that have long made the Maldives one of the world's finest destinations for diving and ocean exploration. Built by Maldivian craftsmen using saltwater-resistant hardwood reinforced with fibreglass, Iruvai embodies the heritage of the islands while providing a welcoming home at sea.
Measuring 30 metres in length with an 8-metre beam, Iruvai spans three spacious decks designed for both relaxation and discovery. She cruises comfortably at around 11 knots and accommodates up to 18 guests in nine en-suite cabins, including a generous Master Suite. A comprehensive refurbishment completed in 2024 introduced refreshed interiors and upgraded mechanical systems while preserving the yacht's authentic character and handcrafted details. Throughout the vessel, carved hibiscus and ironwood features celebrate the artistry of local artisans, creating a warm atmosphere that feels distinctly Maldivian.

She follows carefully planned itineraries through some of the Maldives' most celebrated diving regions, including North and South Malé, Ari, Rasdhoo, Vaavu, Baa, Lhaviyani, Raa and the northern atolls, adapting each route to seasonal marine life and sea conditions. Depending on the time of year, guests may encounter manta rays gathering at Hanifaru Bay, graceful whale sharks cruising through South Ari Atoll, vibrant coral gardens and dramatic channel dives alive with pelagic species. Nitrox is available on board, allowing certified divers to extend their underwater adventures.
