SY Infinitea, built in 2025, is a modern Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 designed for both performance sailing and comfortable long-range cruising.
Aboard Infinitea, the journey becomes just as extraordinary as the destination itself, as few ways to discover the Maldives compare to the freedom of exploring this island nation under sail. Far from resorts and fixed itineraries, this elegant sailing yacht invites guests to experience the Maldives through turquoise lagoons, remote anchorages, deserted sandbanks, and endless horizons where sea and sky become one.
Measuring 14.2 metres in length with a beam of 4.5 metres, Infinitea accommodates up to eight guests in five well-appointed cabins. Spacious interiors, air-conditioned living areas, three bathrooms, and abundant natural light create a welcoming atmosphere that feels both intimate and refined.
Modern technology complements the spirit of traditional sailing. Infinitea features solar panels, a watermaker, radar, AIS navigation systems, autopilot, and Starlink satellite internet, ensuring both comfort and safety while maintaining a connection to the outside world when needed.
The yacht Infinitea is equipped with snorkelling gear, fishing equipment, wakeboards, underwater lights, and a convenient swimming platform, allowing guests to enjoy the Maldives from every possible angle.
Infinitea can be chartered exclusively for a private group or enjoyed on a cabin-by-cabin basis, allowing guests to join one of the yacht's signature sailing adventures through the Maldives. To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone on board, guests must be at least 12 years of age and confident swimmers.
A young European couple operates SY Infinitea: Captain/Chef and a Mate/Hostess. They are professional and qualified to support every aspect of life on board, including preparing and serving meals, snorkelling, and sailing lessons.
Every day aboard Infinitea feels like a chapter from a classic sailing adventure. This is an authentic ocean journey, where the wind determines the pace, the sea shapes the route, and unforgettable memories are created along the way.

The Yacht & Base Information
Yacht: Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 (Launch: June 2025)
Base: Located in Crossroads Marina, Maldives (The only high-end, purpose-built marina).
Logistics: Located just 15 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport (MLE).
Layout & Capacity: 5-Cabin Version (Maximum 8 Guests + 2 Crew).
Accommodation: 3 double guest cabins + 1 bunk cabin. Final cabin allocation subject to operational setup.
Detailed Equipment & Comfort Inventory
S/Y INFINITEA is heavily upgraded for comfort and autonomy in the tropics:
– Navigation & Sailing: Standard Draft Keel, Yanmar 80 HP Engine (240L Fuel Capacity), Furling Mast, Walk-around decks, full bimini/sprayhood setup.
– Electronics: Full Raymarine Cruising Pack (Axiom 7 Touchscreen, p70s Autopilot, i70s Display, Ray63 VHF), Radar, AIS Transponder, and portable VHF radio.
– Tropical Comfort: Air-Conditioning in the saloon (operates on shore power; generator installation planned June 2026), Solar panels, 3000VA inverter, and Starlink onboard (stay connected for messages, planning, or light remote work).
– Galley & Water Systems: 640L Water Capacity, 140 L/hour Watermaker, dedicated RO mineral drinking water system, 2-burner gas stove and oven, two fridges in the galley, one mini fridge in the cockpit, cockpit sink with hot/cold water, saltwater foot pump in galley, Ice cube maker, blender, and soup maker.
– Saloon & Entertainment: Premium “Ambience Tropezian” upholstery, RA70N Fusion Audio Player with interior/cockpit speakers, portable projector for private sandbank cinemas.
– Toys & Exploration: Highfield CL380 dinghy with 20hp 4-stroke Suzuki outboard, SUPs, wakeboard, premium snorkeling gear, beach BBQ setup, and underwater lights.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
Date Approval & Deposit: a 50% deposit is required to secure the yacht for the selected dates after approval. The remaining 50% balance is due 45 days prior to arrival.
Cancellations: More than 45 days prior = Loss of the 50% deposit. 45 days or less prior = Loss of 100% of the charter fee.
Taxes: Government Permits are tax-exempt. All tax rates are subject to change based on official government regulations at the time of charter.
Provisioning / Self-Catering: Daily meals are self-catered by guests using the fully-equipped galley. Guests are also responsible for providing the crew’s daily meals. An optional pre-provisioning service is available for an extra fee so your groceries are stocked onboard before arrival.
Optional Full Board Package: For a completely hands-off experience, you can request a comprehensive Full Board package. This includes 3 freshly prepared meals a day, daily snacks, and unlimited soft drinks handled entirely by the crew.
SY Infinitea can accommodate a maximum of 8 Guests + 2 Crew in 5 cabins.
